The association
ADÉFO’s goal is to promote awareness in France of Finno-Ugric languages, the peoples who speak them, their history and their cultures (see the association’s statutes). It organises a variety of events: conferences, symposiums, round tables, concerts, commemorations, etc., often in collaboration with other organisations.
ADÉFO publishes an annual journal, Études finno-ougriennes, and two collections:
The association can only carry out its activities with the constant support of all those who want to see Finno-Ugric studies progress in France and French-speaking countries: Études finno-ougriennes is the only French-language journal dedicated to this field. ADÉFO membership entitles you to a paper copy of the journal Études finno-ougriennes as well as significant discounts on other publications (-25%).
Supporting ADÉFO also means promoting its activities and publications, and in particular encouraging libraries and associations to subscribe. ADÉFO would like to thank in advance all those who wish to support it.
